Au Liégeur has also recently developed Corklip, the perfect combination of cardboard and cork. This alternative to plastic caps is particularly appealing to the agrifood and decoration industries due to its quality and 100% eco-friendly format.

Resource sustainability
Preserving and promoting cork resources
100% local, 100% natural
Since the 2000s, Au Liégeur has been committed to a voluntary approach to sustainable and circular development with one goal in mind: to promote and develop regional cork resources in order to offer its customers high-quality, 100% local solutions.
This commitment has notably resulted in the co-creation, with other local players in the sector, of the association « Le Liège Gascon ».
The aim of this organisation is to enable future generations to once again benefit from this exceptional and ancestral resource that is cork in the Landes forest.

Sustainability of expertise
Promoting and developing ancestral skills through excellence
Since 2019, Au Liégeur has been recognised as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant under the ‘EPV’ label (Living Heritage Company). This state recognition distinguishes French companies with rare and exceptional craftsmanship. Awarded for a period of five years, the EPV label brings together manufacturers committed to high performance in their profession and their products. Au Liégeur had its label renewed in 2024.
Au Liégeur also holds the ‘French Fab’ label and is thus contributing to the transformation of industry in France by promoting concepts and technologies from the Industry of the Future. French Fab represents companies, economic players, institutions and industrial sites located in France that share a commitment to developing French industry.
